The Beetle Turbo Coolstar Package

An introduction to this Volkswagen The Beetle Turbo with the Coolstar Package.

The round silhouette is unmistakably a Beetle; the Turbo grade puts a 2.0-litre direct-injection turbo behind it. You can choose it for the looks and still be surprised by how quickly it moves — that gap is the appeal of this model.

The engine is the same family of 2.0-litre TSI turbo as the Golf GTI. Strong torque arrives from as low as 1,700 rpm, so it stays relaxed around town and has plenty in reserve for motorway merges and overtaking. The quick-shifting six-speed DSG adds S and manual modes for shifting yourself.

This car carries the sought-after Coolstar Package: bi-xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights, the three-gauge cluster on top of the dashboard (oil temperature, stopwatch and boost), and dark tinted glass. Cars fitted with it are not common on the used market.

Turbo-specific equipment includes 18-inch five-spoke alloys with red brake calipers, the large rear spoiler, and chrome dual exhausts with a rear diffuser. The tyres are Yokohamas dated 2022. Inside, everything from the steering wheel trim to the door trim is finished in black, with alloy-look pedals.

Front and rear seats are black leather, with seat heaters for driver and passenger. There is also dual-zone climate control, the factory VW SD navigation unit (712SDCW) with digital TV and Bluetooth, ETC, parking sensors and front fog lights.

Before delivery we apply a coating to the headlights and LED daytime running lights free of charge. Headlights on imported cars tend to yellow and cloud with age; a coating keeps them clear for longer.

Registered in December 2013 with 115,000 km. An official dealer import with no accident history. The black paint holds a deep, reflective gloss, and you can look it over in 52 photographs and the 360° views.
