Scirocco R Recaro

An introduction to this Volkswagen Scirocco R "Recaro" for sale.

The Scirocco R is the top of the range: mechanically close to the Golf GTI and R, but lowered and bodied as a three-door coupé. A 2.0-litre direct-injection turbo is paired with a six-speed DSG and paddles, and COMFORT/SPORT modes let it stay relaxed around town and firm up when you want it to. The R-specific front bumper and rear diffuser, the twin exhausts split left and right, and the R-only 19-inch alloys give it a stance the standard car does not have.

This particular example is the "Recaro" edition, of which 100 were brought into Japan. As the name says, it carries Recaro bucket seats trimmed in Alcantara and leather, with seat heaters. Seats that hold you properly matter more the further you drive, and cars that left the factory with this combination are limited in number.

The exterior is Candy White, which together with the black 19-inch alloys makes for a sharp black-and-white contrast. It is an official import with no accident history, non-smoking, and fitted with the factory navigation with digital TV.

The odometer reads 155,000 km, a fair distance — but the interior does not show it. The Recaro cushions and backrests, the headlining, and even the rear seats, which usually wear first, are free of sagging or noticeable soiling. You can look over the details in the interior 360° view.

The inspection runs to November 2027. Before delivery we carry out the statutory 12-month service, and the car comes with a three-month, unlimited-mileage dealer warranty.
