Of all the fifth-generation Quattroportes styled by Pininfarina, the Sport GT S is the one tuned for driving. This car pairs a white body with a red leather interior — a combination that turns heads.

At its heart is the 4.7-litre naturally aspirated V8, assembled at Ferrari’s Maranello factory. It produces 440 PS (catalogue figure), and the sound that builds as the revs rise is the defining pleasure of this model. In SPORT mode the exhaust valves open for an even fuller V8 soundtrack. The ZF six-speed automatic comes with paddle shifters and a manual mode.

Sport GT S-specific equipment includes lowered suspension, 20-inch alloy wheels, a black-finished grille, red brake calipers and a sports exhaust. The tyres are Pirelli P ZERO (245/35ZR20) from 2022 with plenty of tread left, and the wheels are free of kerb marks.

Inside are sport seats in red leather with Alcantara-style inserts, free of scuffs or wear front and rear. Comfort equipment is generous: carbon interior trim, BOSE surround sound, factory navigation with TV, power seats with memory, a glass sunroof and independent rear air vents. A back-up camera and a mirror-type dash cam are fitted. At over five metres long, the rear seats take adults in comfort.

Beyond the body coating, paint protection film has been applied to the front, sides and roof. The white paint keeps its gloss, and the headlights are clear with no yellowing or clouding. The engine was always warmed up properly before driving — a car that has been treated with mechanical sympathy.
